EURoma Network will hold its next partners’ meeting in November in Madrid. Hosted by the Spanish Managing Authority, this will be the last meeting of the 2007-2013 programming period.
Now that the negotiations between the Member States and the European Commission on the ESI Funds are concluded (or about to conclude) in all Member States, it is time to translate the elements included in the Operational Programmes into actions in the implementation phase.
In this context, the main objective of the meeting will be to identify, based on the experience of the 2007-2013 programming period and the process of preparation of the Partnership Agreements and Operational Programmes for the 2014-2020 period, the main challenges for the implementation phase that has just started. Participants will also review how transnational cooperation and the EURoma Network could help Member States to address these challenges and use the full potential of the European Structural and Investment (ESI) Funds to promote Roma inclusion during the 2014-2020 programming period.
