The meeting gathered representatives of bodies managing European Structural and Investment funds (ESI funds) and of those in charge of roma policies from 11 member states, in addition to the european commission and the network technical secretariat (FSG)
The report calls on EU institutions and Member States to consider a number of proposals to ensure that EU programmes and funds have a positive impact on the living conditions of Roma.
The Commission has published a Midterm review (COM(2017) 458) of the EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies, assessing progress made and challenges ahead in its implementation.
