The next EURoma Management Committee meeting will take place in Stockholm, 24-25 September.
The Management Committee will plan foreseen Working Group activities for the coming months, including the organisation of a seminar on “Building partnerships” (Employment Working Group) and a seminar on “Improving the capacity of local and regional authorities for the social inclusion of the Roma” (Social Inclusion Working Group). Other issues that will be discussed include “Coordination and projects follow-up mechanisms”, and advance in the debate on “Data collection for better monitoring projects”, new stakeholders and new practical experiences. It will also reach agreement on the contents and objectives of the planned Intermediate Report for 2010 on Roma and Structural Funds (how Structural Funds are being invested for the social inclusion of the Roma). As in every Management Committee meeting, there will space for the host partner country, Sweden to share its experience and policies aimed at the inclusion of the Roma.
